Mom For Four The darts work nicely in the Nerf NStrike gun. The darts are bigger than the regular Nerf darts and the gun has more power than the regular Nerf guns, so I would recommend that these toys are only given to highly responsible children or grownups. They are lots of fun and sturdy.

Nerfer With Darts firing further and faster than ever before they are that much easier to lose, so extra darts are always a must. Also the large mega darts are seemingly more easily damaged so these replacements are necessary if you intend to use the nerf mega line of blasters. The darts are a little bit on the flimsy side with seemingly thin walled construction for their size they become distorted if left in clips for any lenght of time and the guns that fire them often jam sometimes destroying the darts when they do. The distances are great with maga darts (when/if the go strait) but the accuracy (even at very close range) is really terrible even by nerf standards and they only fly a little bit (maybe 10-15feet) further than elite darts. You will probably need replacements of mega darts if you buy any mega dart blaster like the Centurion or Magnus. And the magnus only comes with 3 darts, Centurion 6 so unless you want the shortest nerf war ever this replacement pack will come in handy. The price is high for just ten darts at about 70 cents a dart for dart not likely to last long unless your careful, compared to 27 cents per elite dart that can realy take a beating and still fire. My advice honestly is to stay out of the Nerf Mega blasters and stick with the more versatile and durable Elite line until better options come along but if your kid wants one the dart refills are

a good idea, and The Nerf Mega line is not all bad as firing these big guns are really satisfying, fun, and intimidating to your foes, just not practical ..but hey its a toy.

The Metal Rooster I have mixed feeling about Elite Mega Darts. They are about two, and a have times the size of regular Elite darts, and whistle(sometimes) as they fly which is fun. They are not as durable as the regular darts , the foam seems to be the same thickness, but the diameter is much larger, so these darts more flimsy. Also the rear of the darts show damage after repeated use, the plastic of the blasters internals shaves the foam, and sometimes more servely damages them. They are just not nearly as tough as the smaller darts.

I have both the curreny released mega blasters that claim 85,and 100 feet ranges, but most times when these darts fly more that 50-60 feet they fly wildly off course.

I have found that if the tip of the rubber on the front are cut off they are far more accurate, but it does decrease the range. Though they will still fly 50-60 feet in the direction you aimed them like that.

Mom of 5 boys While these darts are accurate, fun, fast and aerodynamic .... They split apart quite easily. It is a tough design to keep together I'm sure. The foam body splits off of the rubber style tip all too often so super glue is highly necessary to keep around in order to get more play time out of them.

I'm sure it would be an impossible task to make them so they don't split apart. We do our best McGyver on them and get extra play out of them by gluing them back.

AJ's Mom My kids and I love nerf products! They are great for kids 3+!!! We have a blast with these toys but also have a "No shooting in the face" rule! If someone gets hit and cries the toys are done for the say! My youngest has been playing with these since he was about 18 months old with my direct supervision and assistance! My oldest is nearly 14 and STILL loves these toys!

Go-to-Lady I am not sure why this review is on the Nerf darts rather than the gun itself. There is not too much to say other than that they work great. They are very durable and my family has already used them multiple times per day over the last two weeks. They can have a sting to them but that really depends on the Nerf Gun being used and the power it has.

The ToyMan I initially did not want my three sons to start liking and purchasing the new Mega series, considering now you have to purchase a new and different set of ammo. If you get them for FREE from purchasing $25 or more on other Nerf products, then it was fine. They tend to break when they are jammed in the gun where they will rip when mis-feed.

fiddleydeedo I bought two of my nephews Nerf guns for Christmas and I received such a great deal with the Toys R Us price match guarantee that I also bought the kids the refill packs as well. When you're in the heat of war in a Nerf battle the last thing you want to do is run out of ammo. Bonus points for me this Christmas!

Gift buyer We use the Nerf refills for our touraments with family.

Shoots up to 100ft just like they say.

The gun jams a little bit if not used right.

Wait until they are on sale 60 is not the best price they go down to 40

great gift for a mature children, and grown ups.
