Ava Its convenient to carry around. It keeps my son from getting bored while riding at the back of the car. Even when travelling he still get to play with this toy.

KDR As someone with an extensive collection of Nerf blasters I picked up this one today and was thoroughly impressed. The design is simple enough, but it's got to be one of my favorite Nerf guns[coming from someone who owns the Stampede and Vulcan]. It's easily concealable in your pocket along with a few darts to use as a backup for any Nerf battles you go to. Its power really surprised me too - as far as velocity it's on par with the Nitefinder and Maverick. Also, it looks really cool! :p

Super Nerf Spartan Picked about 10 up when they first came out. Always buy these in bulk of about 2 to 3. Great for Nerf wars and Nerf outings. The best air seal...ever. If you want to impress your kids this holidays, buy this. I have loved Nerf for 17 years now and am just thinking about college and a job, so I plan to go make Nerf guns for a living. Your children will be playing with future nerf....the Nerf that I designed.

Tim I have wars with this Jolt EX-1 blaster in my house. These are the best NERF guns made. They are compact, but deliver great accuracy. You can also incorporate the "power shot", which is thrusting your arm forward as you shoot to get even more speed on your shots. This gun vacuum loads darts...literally sucking the dart into the barrel if it's not pushed all the way in when you pull back. The whistle tip darts are key. Don't get the tapered off dart heads as they don't fly nearly as well.

Too old to play w/Nerf...oh well I just picked up four of these to play with my cousin and his kids. These shoot VERY well. Ballistics-wise, the short barrel doesn't slow down the darts the way the barrels of the C-35, Stampede, Longshot and others do. The result is a fairly accurate 30-35 ft shot. [$] seems a little steep for it . . . other merchants carry it for less than $4.

Atari2600 This is Nerf's probably best Nerf gun This gun is small and you could easily fit it in your pocket. Ranges are up to forty feet! All you have to do is pull down the handle and fire. This is a good gun for early Nerf collectors and already expert Nerf collectors or anyone in the middle! Toysrus is really one of the only places to get it and other Nerf guns. If you are giving a gift to a son, grandson, or really anyone else, this is great. If i got a second one on accident, it still would be awesome! If you like to modify guns, this one would be easy and great.

TootsNYC, Nerf Mom I bought two of these for my daughter and her college roommate. They love them. The girl across the hall has a Maverick, but my daughter got the drop on her because she could carry this tiny gun hidden in a pocket.

I cleaned up the living room by shooting darts from the middle of the 17-foot room, across the 14-foot dining room, and the length of the 10-foot bedroom. Some shots bounced off the window at the other end!

And yes, the darts whistled. Satisfyingly.

I think everybody needs one of these. I want one of my own.

It's very easy to load and easy to prime. It requires a very strong pull to "prime" the gun for firing, but it doesn't take much dexterity.

hp We use this product in Humans versus Zombies and for fun in the dorm. It has earned the nickname of "Noisy Cricket" after the gun in Men in Black. Why? Because it is way more powerful than it looks. I prefer to use it than many of my larger guns. The price is just the cherry on top.

Bryan I bought this gun after becoming intrigued with a zombie-hunting game being played at a college my three friends attend. This little guy would service as the perfect concealed last-resort weapon to defend against a sudden zombie attack. Results collected through many test-fires show that this gun is compatible with ALL regular-sized Nerf darts. Including Whistler, Streamline, Suction, and Tag darts. The best ones to use though are the two Whistlers that come in the package.

My only complaints are that the thing takes a little while (over five seconds) to reload and fire successfully, and there is this little nib inside the barrel somewhere that keeps nicking the darts I load. It's also a single fire, but honestly that's not even much of a problem. Actually a single-shot gun is certainly expected from such a small design.

Other than that, this is an excellent gun to have in case I get stuck outside my dorm building with a horde on my tail. Fully impressed :]
