Serena I returned the dolphin bath bubble maker for this one and am so glad I did. The other one was terrible! This is more of what I had in mind :)

BIG MOMMA I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 2 YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER WHO LOVES BUBBLES. IT BLOWS A TON OF BUBBLES AT ONE TIME AND SHE LOVES IT. I'M GOING TO GET ONE FOR MY GRANDSON NOW. I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Jkf I purchased this to do a photo shoot with my 4 year old. I have used it once so far. My daughter loved it and I got beautiful shots.

I plan to offer 'bubble shoots' as a photographer and this was my practice run. I still need to make sure it is fairly portable but I expect it to make it through a few sessions and continue entertaining my daughter.

In response to complaints I saw on here,

The front does leak, but only if tipped or overfilled. There are small holes in the front that keep it from getting too full. I think it is designed to prevent it from spilling into the macine parts.

Also, the batteries are in the top, on the outside. So I can't see how it could get into the casing. The compartment has an inner and outer cover.

I only wrote the responses to complaints to help others understand the construction and functionality so they would not worry about it not working.

Vicky We bought this for my 4 year old's birthday because she loves bubbles. I bought extra bubble solution that was on a shelf nearby (not the Gazillion brand but another kind) because I figured she'd run through it pretty quick. We get it home to discover the thing takes 6 batteries, which seemed an absurd amount for such a little machine. It took a bit of work to get it in working order, as the screws that hold the battery cover onto the machine were pretty tough to get out, and then the fan inside came tumbling out with the bubble canal. Had to work it back in.

Once we got it all set up outside, it ran great! It just spewed out bubbles and my kid was amazed with it. It is very easy to spill though. The slightest movement causes it to spill out. All in all the bubble solution lasted a grand total of 7 minutes. I imagine it would've run 10 minutes if we hadn't spilled some of it out.

Thinking it was fine, I went to pour in the other bubble solution we had bought only to discover that it's too weak for the machine. You're going to have to buy the Gazillion Bubble Solution if you want any bubbles.

It was overly pretty disappointing after the trouble we went through to get it all working and since the bubbles only lasted such a short while. It was very fun while it lasted though.

Mom of 2 I was actually looking to replace our bubble blower when I found these reviewers. My boys are ages 5 and 2 both love this toy. My older sons friends also love it. I guess I never read the directions when I purchased it, so instead of attaching the entire bottle of bubbles to the machine we simply poured the bubbles into the little spot (that looks like a holder)where the bubble bottle goes. The holder has to be refilled afer 5-10 minutes but that is really no big deal. We used to all spring and summer long -and I mean all summer and it seems to not be working now. It could be from the 2 year old trying to tinker with it. I just don't know, but I am definitely buying another one.

Mom to 4 Under 6 My children received this as a gift. You have to use a specific bubble container for the toy. It takes about 5 minutes before you've "blown through" $4.00 worth of bubbles.BUT, that's not the worst thing about it. It LEAKS like crazy. We have an Eeyore Bubble Blower from the Disney Store that is GREAT!

momsgroupofEG Having purchased several bubble machines, this is by far the best. Lasts longest and produces a large amount of bubbles. Battery operated, or you can purchase an electrical cord for it. Only downfall is, it has to sit on a table, as the bubbles will leak out if kids try to run off with it or carry it. But the benefits FAR outweigh the down side. Great for parties, parks, and outdoor fun. :-)

Katie My 23 month old and 11 month old love this machine, yes it does go through the bubble liquid quickly but I just bought the big huge bottles of bubbles [...] and they work a treat.

Kye's mommy Bought this for our 1yr old's 1st b'day. It spills liquid all over & makes the biggest mess. It lasted for 2 hours and wouldn't turn back on. It was a big hit before that though! I read the reviews before we bought it, so we weren't expecting much-just that it last the duration of the 4 hour party. No such luck. Still looking since we have a ton of solution left!!
