KC I am a foster parent. I also bought pirate boat water table. I bought this one as a sand table put 50ibs of play sand in it the kids love it. They pour sand through top put balls in then more sand and then try and find the balls. Hide toys in sand drive cars loads of fun.

Ginger My 2 yo LOVES this table. The small balls are a hit and she loves to put them in the spiral slide over and over. she loves to splash and pour water on herself with the cup...if she's happy I'm happy, I just usually take her clothes off before she plays with this one.

s chong Over the years I have learned to second guess the photo on the box. Usually the kids end up having half the amount of fun, and the product is usually half the size, and though I would adjust the recommended ages to (able to stand unassisted) 1-3years, this water toy is great, and worth every penny! My son received this for his 1st birthday, and hasn't stopped playing with it. (We've even lost nap times because of it, not necessarily a perk, but a sign that he loves it) It's even fun WITHOUT water, which is a big bonus because we can bring it inside to play. The swirly ball/water funnel in the center has a large enough opening for other ball-type toys in which we integrated to add more fun. Again, let me stress that my son is only 1, and can work every contraption by himself (some in his own way) but its easy for him to use, and just as fun for his father and me to join in.

The only thing I could imagine would make this better is if the legs were a little sturdier or had some sort of gripping action because it could easily be pushed to slide on slick surfaces. (It has glided across our wood floors with little effort from my little one.) but I will say it's well balanced and has never tipped or caved.

1ST TIME MOMMY MY ALMOST 4YR OLD DAUGHTER LOVES IT AND TOOK TO IT RIGHT AWAY. LESS THEN 30MINS TO PUT TOGETHER. NO LEAKS NO PROBLEMS ITS PERFECT. MY DAUGHTER WAS DIAGNOISED WITH AUTISM IN OCT AND I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GREAT TOY FOR HER TO HELP WITH HER MOTOR SKILLS.

Momma to 5 After reading reviews on so many water tables, I went with this one- the price was good, too! My 17 month old son has very little interest in toys, he'd much rather play outside with dirt, rocks, sticks, etc. So I didn't want to spend a fortune in case he wasn't interested in it. And after raising so many boys I knew for a fact I did not want the sand/water tables, hello mud!

It took 10-15 min to set up, I did it myself, I am NOT a handyman type, either! But it was easy to set up, my only problem was the drain plug, that sucker is definitely not easy. But it needs to be in tight not only to keep the water in, but also tight enough that it can't be easily removed. Once I was able to secure it, it's fine, but I think getting it in right took as long as all the other set up. I was slightly disappointed in the legs, Little Tykes is known for super sturdy toys- my oldest son is 19 and we have some LT trucks that he got for his first birthday- over the years I do see a slight decline in the quality of their toys. But overall still very dependable toys.

My wee one surprised me and played at this water table for FIVE hours yesterday. It was so neat to watch him master different skills- he learned to spin the ferris wheel, drop the balls into the spiral, and pour water to make the gears spin. He even added his own fun by bobbing for balls. He has been working on learning to blow bubbles in the pool and he spent the afternoon working on that, too.

I've already decided to go purchase another one for my nephew, who will be 1 in a few weeks, and his sister just turned 5- this toy is a win for all ages!

Mom of 2 I got this for my son's first birthday. The product says it's good for ages 2-5 but we found that he enjoyed it as well. It's a great alternative to bringing out the kiddie pool on a warm day, but expect them to get pretty much soaked. It was pretty easy to put together and while some people have complained about leaking, I didn't find it to be a huge problem. It does leak a bit, but it's a water table that is fairly cheap... you can't expect it to have industrial strength plugs. I've never had the need to put a bucket underneath it as some have described, and it's never in an area that can't get wet... the kids have played with it for up to 2 hours and we've never noticed the water level going down from leaking (though from splashing and dumping from the cup? That's another story...).

Natalies mom Used in back yard pool deck. Great because it is the perfect height for 18 month olds and up to use. Holds just enough water for the kids to have fun but not be wasteful. Easy to put together. My 21 month old loves to play with it. Downside is that the crank is a bit tight for a young toddler to turn, but they can do it. And the center piece, where the kids drop the balls to watch them swirl around and out the bottom, has a little plastic ledge where the balls sometimes get stuck. As long as your standing there to help knock the balls down, its ok.

Mom2Mini This was bought as a gift for my daughter when she turned 2. She has had more fun playing with the water table than any other toys. She will soon be 3 and we are now on our second summer with this water table. It is still in great condition with no issues. My step daughter, who is 7, also loves playing with it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering it.

Mommy of 2 I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Both LOVE the table. My only complaint is that is was really hard to screw it together. Assembly instructions are very easy and clear, but screwing it together without it being pre-drilled left me with a huge blister on my thumb! Ouch!
