Grama J My 3 little grandchildren in a far away state received this last week and their mom (my daughter) texted me a picture right away because they were so delighted! I esp. like the umbrella feature.

Fun with Dad My son loves the water part the best... He's two and has a blast getting himself wet (keep a towel near by parents).

It's a fun toy, easy to assemble, and keeps my son's attention.

Wishes:

1. A lid would have been nice, shouldn't have to pay more just so it would come with a lid.

2. Although easy to assemble, all the directions should include words. (Color pictures would have been nice too).

3. A larger umbrella would be nice. The idea of the umbrella is to cover both table and child. It covers the child on the sand side of the table, but not on the water side.

4. Back on the assembly, the holes where the screws go were hard to reach. I had to use pliers to reach in to hold the screw so that the screwdriver could screw it in. (not a big deal, just thought it might be helpful to know)

5. Sand is relatively inexpensive. Perhaps including a starter kit would make an additional perk for this product compared to others?

Overall, happy we bought this.

momtoamonkey I bought this before my son was even able to play with it! He's 17 months old now and when it's chilly out, I fill both sides with sand. When warm, I fill both sides with water! I don't want the mess of both! He could play with it for hours if I let him! His 2 1/2 year old cousin loves it too! Best outdoor toy purchase so far!

Mom of 2 I bought this before my son was even able to play with it! He's 17 months old now and when it's chilly out, I fill both sides with sand. When warm, I fill both sides with water! Two Boys Under 4 This is our go to outdoor toy. Everyone must have one of these. We keep it on our deck and let the boys play with the hose filling it up and playing with the sand. Of course the water and sand get mixed up but that's what its all about. Even with the umbrella we still put sunscreen on the boys as we get full sunshine. We even bought some little plastic cars for them to play with. To prevent sand from getting in the house, we keep towels at the door and make sure their hands and feet get hosed off.

It would be nice if the next model comes with a cover. So I empty the water as best I can, let it dry a bit, and at night put a small grill cover we had over it. Only negative is that its a little hard to get all the water out, but all the ones out there are like that.

Grandpa/ma Easy to set up and maintain. Lots of inter-active fun for 1-5 children. Grand-daughter loves colored play sand...esp purple! Needs a cover to keep cats out of the sand.

Robn I felt like the construction made it hard to put together. I have small hands and I had a really hard time placing the screws into the holes because my hand couldnt get close enough. It took about 30 minutes to essemble because I had to turn the unit over to get the screw back so I could try again. Once it was essembled, I felt like it was stable. It would be nice if the sand side had a drain, because I am using it as a second water table and have to turn it over to drain. I like the umbrella offers good shade, I did feel like the table was alittle low, the height provided includes the water tower.

PA from As soon as the play table was put together, my nieces, ages 1 and 2, were anxious to play with it. It was very sturdy once it was correctly assembled. One problem I had noticed was because of the heighth, the 2 year old was trying to climb into it. Maybe being a little bit higher may have prevented that. However, it looks like it will be hours of fun for them!

Parent This is tons of fun for my 1 and 2 year olds but it doesn't have a lid and all kinds of bugs, etc. get in the water. If it had a lid or cover, it'd be perfect!

Chrise's mom I just bought this table at [@] and when I finished assembling it, my son was very happy to see what it was, but I was disappointed when I notice that it doesn't have a cover and bugs, lizards or an occasional mouse might make it a home.
